Varen dom insurance also covers the theft of parts of the building, such as gutters, fences and other parts made of copper, iron, stainless steel, and similar materials. In case of theft of parts of the building, the external units of the building and devices are not covered by the insurance, and the insurance does not cover damage to the built-in equipment (e.g. boilers, air conditioners, hydrophores, solar panels for heating sanitary water, solar power plants for self-supply, solar showers, taps, radiators, stoves, pipes, windows, doors, etc.). Heat pumps are an exception which are insured up to 5,000 EUR per damage event and in the annual aggregate.

If the residential property was previously insured against basic fire hazards and storm and hail hazards based on some other policy (e.g. facility manager's policy, policy concluded together with loan, etc.), the policyholder has the right to a lower premium for the Standard and Max packages when concluding this product, based on the exclusion of basic fire risks and storm and hail risks.

An auxiliary building is a building with an area of up to 50 m2 that belongs to a residential building, has its own foundation, or is fixed and located at the same address and on the same plot of land, but not under the same roof. These are: fences, terraces, closed garages, boiler rooms, locked storerooms, canopies and sunshades in the garden, sports fields, jacuzzies, outdoor pools including a cover, except plastic and textile covers, etc.). Auxiliary buildings are also garages within a radius of 1000 m from the place of insurance.

Robotic lawn mowers are classified as garden devices and machines when they are in the garden, on the stairs or in common areas. Garden equipment and machines are insured under residential movable property.

In the event of machinery breakdown, the elevator malfunction is also covered, up to 5,000 €.

In the case of an elevator machinery breakdown when insuring an apartment/ commonhold unit, the insurance indemnity is paid according to the corresponding ownership share.

In case of machinery breakdown insurance, devices in the "smart home" or "smart house" system (heating control, lighting control, access control, etc.) are also covered.

Solar power plants for individual self-sufficiency are insured within the framework of residential property, namely within the framework of the basic insurance premium.

The insurance of heat pumps belongs to the insurance of residential real estate (within the built-in equipment owned by the insured person).

As part of residential property insurance, other heating, cooling and ventilation devices are also insured.

Global Customer Assistance Services (GCAS) are available 24 hours a day worldwide for situations such as: time-delayed card cancellation in the event of loss, theft or misuse, fast retrieval of a replacement card, fast retrieval of cash in emergencies, enquiry services.

Global Customer Assistance Service (GCAS) provides faster cancellation in the event of loss, theft or misuse of your VISA Platinum card. It also allows you to quickly obtain a replacement card and, in an emergency, the cash you need.

Any problems with your VISA Platinum card can be resolved anywhere, anytime with a single call to one of the GCAS toll-free numbers. A global network of service assistance provides communication in several languages. We recommend that you take with you when you travel the freephone helplines for the area you are visiting.

Temporary replacement card

If needed, the system will provide you with a replacement temporary card free of charge within one working day, and you can pick up your card at one of around 1,000 emergency service points worldwide. You can request a replacement card at the same time as reporting the loss or theft of your card by calling the free general helpline.

Urgent cash authorisation

GCAS will also authorise, in agreement with your home bank, an amount of emergency cash, which may be up to five thousand US dollars, to be collected by you in the agreed manner.

Enquiry services

GCAS also provides freephone numbers to answer various questions, such as information on the nearest ATMs where you can withdraw cash with your VISA Platinum card.

Important

The service is free if you make a call from your local network to the number that applies to the country where you are located. Mobile operators or hotel line providers may charge for the call.

A list of freephone numbers with more information is available at (https://www.visaeurope.com/lost-your-card).
If the country you are in is not on the GCAS Freephone Assistance list or you are unable to connect, you can make a collect call from your local network to +1 303-967-1096

Mobile operators usually do not support or charge for the service, which is not the responsibility of the bank or card scheme.

When the ATM is emptied or refilled, the bank (ATM owner) will send the withdrawn card to the bank that owns the card. Upon receipt of your card, we will inform you about it and agree on how to return it (in person, by post). It takes on average 14 days to return a card. Although the bank will try to eliminate any malfunction of the SKB Trader application that may occur due to regular maintenance of the service or any technical problems as soon as possible, it may happen that a customer is temporarily partially or completely unable to use the service. In such a case, you can always call us at (01) 471 50 94 and conclude the desired transaction over the phone (the conversation will be recorded for this purpose).

The use of the SKB Trade application is safe. It uses a technological solution that enables a secure connection between the customer and the bank while taking into account all standards of secure communication for commercial purposes.

You can also take care of security yourself by handling the access data (username and password) carefully, protecting them from unwanted access or insight by unauthorised persons, and changing the password regularly and periodically in accordance with the recommendations for creating a password.

A counter transaction is a transaction in the opposite direction of the same currency pair in the same amount (for example, if the initial transaction was the purchase of 100,000 USD and the sale of the EUR equivalent, the counterpart transaction means the purchase of EUR and the sale of 100,000 USD). A counterpart foreign exchange transaction is usually concluded when you want to partially or fully close an unwanted foreign exchange position that has resulted by executing a wrong transaction.

By clicking the selected exchange rate in the SKB Trader application, the purchase or sale of foreign exchange is executed instantly. Because of that an unintentional error can quickly occur.

Although a concluded foreign exchange transaction, once executed, cannot be cancelled or changed, you can always conclude a counter transaction thus closing the unwanted foreign exchange position which has resulted from the wrong transaction.

Yes, it is. One legal entity can have several users, each of whom will receive a username and password. However, the company assumes full responsibility for all liabilities and any damage caused to the company or the bank due to any abuse of access data resulting from gross negligence. Any login to the service by using the correct access data is considered to have been fully authorised by the company.

To access the application, fill out the form or contact us at (01) 471 50 94 or SKBtrader@skb.si.

After signing a relevant documentation, you will receive a username and initial password for access, which you will need to change upon the first registration (and then every 3 months). We suggest that you also read carefully the general terms and conditions available on this website.

In the case of a higher transaction amount that exceeds the contractually determined amount by the bank, the purchase or sale of foreign exchange via the SKB Trader application is not carried out by clicking on the selected exchange rate, but the request for quote (RFQ) is sent via the application directly to the bank, which quotes you an individually determined exchange rate for such a transaction.

There is no upper limit on the amount, in the case of an amount of the foreign exchange transaction that exceeds the contractually determined amount by the bank, the conclusion is made according to a request for quote (RFQ). In any case, before concluding a foreign exchange transaction via the SKB Trader application, you must ensure the necessary funds in your account to cover such a transaction.

The minimum amount for concluding an individual transaction is limited to the countervalue of 1,000.00 EUR.

Via the SKB Trader application, you are able to trade all major global and regional currencies that are also published in the SKB Bank exchange rate list. Conclusion of transactions is possible against EUR or USD.

SKB Trader is user-friendly and relatively easy to use. You can purchase or sell foreign exchange in a few seconds by clicking on the selected exchange rate.

The user manual is also available in the application and you can always contact customer support at (01) 471 50 94 or SKBtrader@skb.si for help.

You can access the SKB Trader application from any electronic device (tablet, computer, mobile phone) that has access to the Internet and you do not need any additional software for it.

The supported browsers include Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Safari and Microsoft Edge.

SKB Trader cannot be used by natural persons. At this time, SKB Trader is intended exclusively for corporate clients.

The SKB Trader application is intended for corporate clients that have a business account with SKB Bank.

You do not need any additional technical equipment to receive Flik instant payments. In September and October, the existing POS terminals were upgraded, thus enabling the possibility of accepting Flik immediate payments. In addition to accepting payment cards, we also enable Flik to all new business customers - this allows business customers to cover the widest range of the most commonly used cashless payment methods for your customers.

For payments with Flik, the payment receipt is not printed automatically from the POS terminal, but only at the request of the payer, as the payment receipt is located in the Flik application.

The advantage of Flik payments is immediate liquidity, as funds are available to you immediately after a successful payment at the POS terminal. It is a completely contactless, fast and secure form of payment, which further upgrades all the advantages of cash and payment cards. This way, you can offer the customer a solution for payment even when he does not have cash or cards with him - but he has a mobile phone with the option of Flik instant payments.

SKB allows its merchants to accept Flik immediate payments at POS terminals, but it is not yet possible to accept Flik at online points of sale.

Flik instant payments can be described as a modern form of cash. These are electronic payments in which money is transferred from the user to the recipient in real time (ie less than 10 seconds). Payments are based on a common platform of banks in Slovenia and are made either via the Flik Pay mobile application (also offered by SKB) or via mobile wallets or mobile banks.

Payments are made at the POS terminal using NFC technology (for Android users) or QR code (for Apple and Android users), and to complete and successfully confirm payments, authentication with a PIN number or biometrics is required, which the customer performs in the Flik application on the phone.

NFC (Near Field Communication) is a contactless technology that allows data to be exchanged between two devices at a distance of a few centimeters. To use NFC technology, it is necessary to enable this feature on the phone.

Flik payment via NFC technology can be made by users of Android phones. The payer unlocks the phone and attaches it to the POS terminal and the transaction is performed (the best user experience is guaranteed if the Flik application is the default mobile wallet on the phone). For purchases over 25 EUR, it is also necessary to authenticate the payment (PIN, fingerprint, face recognition on the phone itself).

Flik payment by scanning the QR code can be made by users of Android and Apple phones. The payer unlocks the phone, opens the Flik application on the phone and logs in; the cashier selects the option of displaying the QR code at the POS terminal. In the Flik application, the payer selects the Pay option, scans the QR code, authenticates the payment (PIN, fingerprint, biometrics on the phone itself) and the transaction is completed.

For payments with Flik, the payment receipt is not printed automatically from the POS terminal, but only at the request of the payer, as the payment receipt is located in the application.

SKB does not transfer or transmit the collected personal data to third countries, except when necessary for the purpose of making payments to countries outside the European Union (i.e. when you make a payment to third countries) or if we receive a legal request to provide data to administrative authorities for the purpose of exercising measured for the prevention of money laundering and measures against the financing of terrorist activities.

The insurance is concluded for one year.

At the end of the agreed duration period, the insurance is automatically extended for the same period of time for which it was concluded, unless the insurance policy holder cancels such an agreement. In case of cancellation, the contract terminates at the end of the current insurance year.

Before the end of the insurance year, in which the person reaches the age of 66, they receive an offer for transformation into insurance or conclusion of new insurance, which is adjusted to the age group of persons after the age of 66.

The insurance lasts for a maximum of the end of the insurance year in which the insured person reaches the age of 100, unless otherwise stipulated by the insurance contract.

The contract terminates prematurely with the death of the insured person, its cancelation or termination.

At the first conclusion of the insurance, the waiting period of 3 months applies for a new disease or condition, except for injuries resulting from an accident that occurred after the start of the insurance. If the insurance policy holder renews the contract within one month after the expiration of the contract, the insurance has no waiting period.

A 24-month waiting period applies to all existing medical conditions at the time of conclusion. Liabilities from the insurance contract for existing conditions will be assumed by the insurance company after the expiration of the waiting period, if the insured has not been treated for these health conditions during this period. If the insured person has been treated during the waiting period, the waiting period for existing medical conditions will be counted from the end of the treatment.

The coverages Halo Doktor and Get a second opinion have no waiting period and also apply to existing medical conditions and chronic diseases.

When cardholders receive a new card, it must be replaced with an existing Business Mastercard. As of December 1, 2021, the Business Mastercard will no longer be usable, so it must be destroyed.

Payment of all obligations made with the Business Mastercard (or more cards) will be made with this card.

The PIN remains the same as it is on cardholder's Business Mastercard credit card.

The card will be received by cardholders in November 2021, with prior notice. The card will be received by those, whose company will not change the characteristics of business card business before or if the card account is not blocked for other reasons.

All features as valid today on the company's Business Mastercard will also apply to the new Visa Business credit card - the amount of the spending limit on the card account, the method of payment, the amount of membership fees and any additional services (Security SMS, Business Card Insurance plus, Additional insurance).

All holders of existing business cards will receive a new Visa Business Credit Card, with which they will operate in the same way as before. If users want to change the features on their business credit cards or add new cards, they can arrange this with their relationship officer by the end of October 2021.

Consumption of the existing Mastercard credit card will, as before, be visible in the SKB NET online bank. There and in MOJ@SKB mobile bank will also be information about the cardholder's Visa card.

Payment of all obligations made with a Mastercard credit card will be made with this card. However, if cardholders make purchases with installments, they will be retained until they are repaid.

From 1 December 2021, cardholders will no longer be able to use the Mastercard credit card, so it has to be destroyed after that date. Cardholders have to start using a Visa credit card.

For holders who currently use only a Mastercard card, the newly acquired Visa card will retain the PIN number as it is on their Mastercard credit card.

However, for holders who currently use a Mastercard and a Visa card, the Visa card PIN does not change.

When holders receive a new card, it should replace the existing Mastercard credit card, which has to be destroyed - holders can then begin using their new Visa credit card. Holders can no longer use their Mastercard credit card from 1 December 2021.

No. In a registered letter of July 2021, customers were informed what kind of Visa card they will receive and what are the essential features that the card will have.

If you want different characteristics of the Visa card than written in the letter, you could arrange changes in the branch until the end of October 2021.

In November 2021, equivalent Visa cards was issued to customers.

Holders of a Mastercard classic card received a Visa credit card. Gold Mastercard holders received a Visa Platinum credit card.

Holders of both cards retained Visa card, regardless of its type, and retain all the features and additional services they have. It was credited with the approved limit from the Mastercard card and all services that holders have only on the Mastercard card.

The "recurring payments" feature makes it easier for your customers to make recurring purchases without having to enter card details in the payment mask each time. This is especially true for recurring purchases that take place over a period of time (eg purchase of monthly tickets, magazines, subscriptions, membership fees,) as the customer may allow you to make the payment yourself and on pre-agreed terms. You can initiate the payment yourself on the basis of the stored masked data, without the customer having to worry about whether the payment will be made.

The ''saved card'' feature makes it easier for your customers to make purchases, as the card information is filled into the payment mask itself. The customer first agrees to the storage of card data in your online store. These are stored in a disguised form and are filled into the payment mask on the next purchase. The customer thus saves time and makes the purchase faster.

The Payment Gateway can be integrated with solutions for the most commonly used plug-ins (WooCommerce, PrestaShop, OpenCart and Magento 2). If you use your own solution, various sample implementations are also available (for PHP, Java and .NET.).

The merchand web portal provides access to:

  • all trade statements,
  • documentation related to your user account for the merchant web portal,
  • notifications related to the operation of the commercial web portal,
  • help for users. It is also available without a username and password so that all your employees can access it.

Here you will also find the contact details of the Customer Support Center.

Through the POS terminal, you can accept the most common cards paid for by customers at Slovenian points of sale, ie Mastercard, Visa, BA, Maestro, Karanta and hosting Diners cards (the contract for accepting these cards must be arranged directly with the card scheme provider Erste Card doo).

The merchant can accept Mastercard, Visa and Maestro cards via the online store.

The contactless stationary POS terminal is intended for merchants who intend to have a POS terminal installed at a permanent payment point, for example at the cash register. The terminal needs to be connected to an IP communication network (cable) for its operation. The POS terminal must be installed in such a way that the customer can make the payment without interruption. In the event that the POS terminal is physically inaccessible to the customer, the terminal can be mounted on a swivel arm or a stand-alone keypad (PIN PAD) can be added. If a keyboard is used on the POS terminal, contactless payment is only possible on this keyboard and not on the POS terminal itself.

The contactless mobile POS terminal is suitable for merchants who can more easily accept payments at various locations in their business (example: restaurants, taxi services, insurance agents, trade fair activities, etc.). Merchants can choose between a contactless mobile POS terminal with GPRS / 3G or WIFI / 3G connection. The mobile POS terminal has a built-in battery that allows use without connection to the mains. To use a mobile GPRS / 3G POS terminal, you need a SIM card, which we also arrange.

At the time of taking out insurance, the waiting period is three months, except in the case of treatment of the consequences of an accident. The entry into force of the additional coverage of Halo Doktor is the day after the signing of the offer. Halo Doktor and the Second Medical Opinion do not have a waiting period.

Persons from the age of 1 to 85 can be insured.

If you do not have a smartphone, you can confirm online payments using Rekono services. On the Rekono website, select Control Panel, create an account, and activate 3D-Secure. To activate, it is necessary to set a 4-digit static password, add a bank and specify Rekono SMS OTP.

The personal data (PIN number) entered by the user is never stored in the mobile application or on Rekono systems, as the connection to the user is made via BankartID, which is a tokenized value. A mobile app, not Rekono as a system, never stores sensitive data. All downloads are made in a secure way - in encrypted form, with the PAN encrypted on the user's side.

Rekono OnePass operates at the user level and does not distinguish between physical and legal users. When a payment card holder activates one card at a certain bank, all payment cards at that bank are activated. In practice, this means that when a payment card holder activates Rekono OnePass, he uses it to confirm all online payments, regardless of whether he has a MOJ@SKB mobile bank as a natural person.

Rekono OnePass is free of charge for SKB payment card holders.

For payment card holders who do not have the conditions to obtain MOJ@SKB mobile bank (they are not authorized on the account or the company uses MULTI SKB NET).

For payment card holders who do not have an open personal account with SKB d.d. and pay card account obligations with another bank and proxies.

Yes. In the Rekono OnePass app you may have several requests to confirm online purchases, all with time limits.

The request to confirm the online payment in the Rekono OnePass application is limited to 5 minutes. If you do not confirm it within this time, the claim will expire and the online payment will not be made, so in this case you will have to repeat the purchase.

The critical vulnerability in the existing confirmation of online payments is mainly the vulnerability that allows a potential attacker to take control of the user's phone number without the knowledge of the telecommunications operator - such abuses have occurred in the past.

You can quickly and easily arrange it by visiting the branch. Make an appointment at a personal banker or through the Contact Center on +386 1 471 55 55.

If you are already an user of the SKB NET online bank, you can activate MOJ@SKB mobile bank within SKB NET.

If you already have MOJ@SKB mobile bank, you do not need to do anything and you are ready for a new way of confirming online payments. We will inform you in advance about the exact introduction of this via SMS. For this purpose check if you have the correct contact information. You can do this via the selection menu in MOJ@SKB mobile bank (Menu-User data). In case the displayed data is incorrect or missing, click '…' at the bottom right and select Edit my data.

The request to confirm the online payment is limited in time to 7 minutes and 30 seconds. If you do not confirm it within this time, the claim will expire and the online payment will not be made, so you will have to repeat the purchase.

The critical vulnerability in the existing confirmation of online payments is one which allows a potential attacker to take control of the user's phone number without the knowledge of the telecommunications operator - such abuses have occurred in the past.

Regular monthly investments ensure that the investor, on average, does not only buy when the average exchange rates are high, but also during periods of falling rates and capital crises, that is, when the average exchange rates are low. In this way, the investor builds an average price, using the average purchase cost method, which in the long run enables them to achieve the average long-term return of the chosen investment.

The investor shall not be charged entry or exit fees in connection with the savings plan.

A savings period under an individual savings plan is 60 months and it is automatically extended for the same period if the investor does not withdraw from the savings plan by signing and submitting to the Bank a request for withdrawal from the savings plan (on the Bank's form), which also contains a withdrawal of the consent for internal direct debit, or if for any reason the investor does not close their personal account with SKB.

An investor can join a savings plan by signing an application form for a savings plan and a consent for internal direct debit of the personal account. By investing in a savings plan, the investor makes monthly payments (placing orders for the purchase of shares of the selected Moorea Fund Sub-Fund) via internal direct debit of individual orders in the minimum amount of 30 EUR.

A savings plan is a form of periodic monthly savings that an investor can join on the basis of an application form for a selected Moorea Fund Sub-Fund, which includes the investor's written consent to the Bank to debit the investor's personal account directly.

When you are issued a new card, you must provide your mobile phone number to which your will be receiving one-time authentication passwords in person at an SKB d.d. outlet or via the electronic bank.

One of the main advantages of 3-D Secure is that it can be used on any computer with an Internet connection and a web browser without any additional installation or setup. When making online purchases on public computers, you need to pay special attention to security and privacy, as they are often targeted by cybercriminals who are after your payment card information.

If the one-time password entered is incorrect, the system requests a re-entry. If you enter the password incorrectly more than three times, the transaction is interrupted and the entire process must be repeated.

If the mobile phone number that the Bank has on record for you is incorrect or if the Bank does not have a mobile number on record at all, you should stop the transaction. In this case, you must provide your mobile phone number in person at an SKB outlet or via the electronic bank.

At the online point of sale that allows the use of 3D-Secure, select »Payment card« as the payment method and enter the required card information. After confirming the entered data, you will receive a request to confirm your online purchase on your mobile phone. If you have disabled the receipt of automatic push messages on your mobile phone, look for a confirmation request in MOJ@SKB mobile bank in the menu bar »Confirm online payment«. After confirming the request, the purchase will be completed successfully.

You can use the 3-D Secure service for all your purchases with online retailers that support 3-D Secure. You can easily recognize these retailers by the 3-D Secure logo.

Individual activation of the service is not required, nor is the installation of additional new hardware and software required. All you have to do is make a purchase with a payment point in an online store that supports 3-D Secure and is marked with the Verified by Visa and MasterCard® SecureCode ™ logos.

The 3-D Secure service brings online purchases with cards a higher level of security, as each purchase verifies the authenticity of the cardholder, using two of the three elements that prove that the payer is the real holder of the payment card. It’s a combination of what we have, of what we are and what we know.

The use of the 3-D Secure service is free of charge for all SKB cardholders.

The 3D-Secure service can be used by any SKB Visa and Mastercard card holder.

SKB LEASING d.o.o has established an internal procedure for resolving customer complaints and claims in order to ensure the quality of its services:

We offer financing for personal vehicles, trucks and vans, agricultural and construction machinery, metalworking machines, woodworking machines, plastic and rubber processing equipment, printing machines and equipment, computer equipment, medical equipment ...

The financing period depends on the credit rating or solvency of the lessee, the amount of financing, additional insurance and the object that is the subject of financing. The maximum period is seven years.

Financial leasing comes with the following advantages:

  • quick approval;
  • little documentation needed;
  • various options for financing insurance;
  • flexibility in the maturity of the installments (quarterly, semi-annually, annually, biennially);
  • possible residual amount after the end of financing, reducing the installment.

For the purpose of purchasing a vehicle, we strongly recommend financial leasing to individuals. This is also our most popular type of leasing.

SKB Leasing provides intermediation with insurance companies that prepare insurance policies with terms and conditions tailored to your wishes and needs.

Financing of used equipment is an option, depending on the type of equipment, the amount of the deposit, the period of financing and the credit rating of the lessee.

SKB Leasing pays the supplier in accordance with the agreement between you and the Supplier. If you agree to make a one-time payment and receive a discount, we will act in accordance with the agreement and allow you to obtain a discount as well.

SKB Leasing offers taxpayers deferred payment of VAT for up to 90 days. The lessee can account for the VAT and be reimbursed for the sum by DURS.

SKB Leasing will use all existing documents stored in our archives and all public-law records (e.g. AJPES, DURS) and complete the entire process of preparing the transaction for you.

Part of financing with financial leasing or operating leasing is also a deposit that depends on several factors, such as the type of equipment, the financing term, the credit rating of the lessee…

After you have paid the last installment, we close your contract and send you a contract closeout letter within a few days, which contains the authorization to delete ownership. Based on this document, you can then change the car license so that the title for the car is in your name. Please check your registration date and make your last payment early enough for your final documents to arrive at your address in time.

If you wish to pay off your obligations early, you will be issued a so-called informative calculation. Based on your payment clearly visible in the informative calculation, we will proceed with the closeout of the contractual relationship with the authorization to delete our ownership.

If you change your address, send us a written request to change your address in our records. If you change your permanent address, send us a photocopy of your new ID as well.

IT support does not enable bill reprinting. Copy the data from the previous bill or give us a call.

A credit consists of two parts.

The first part, which follows the serial number of the credit, provides information on how much the outstanding debt from interest is to be reduced (as a consequence, subsequent installments are also reduced). If you paid VAT, the VAT value is recognized as an overpayment. The overpayment shall be recorded as a payment at the first subsequent installment. If you have outstanding liabilities from previous periods, the VAT amount from the credit closes part of your existing debt.

In the second part of the credit you have to indicate the date of the VAT correction in your records or select point 1 or 2 (taking into account the actual VAT status at the beginning of the financing).

Add the credit to the account and a confirm with a stamp if you are a legal entity.

Send the original to SKB Leasing and keep a copy for your records."

Risk premium payments are considered as tax deductible expenses for the company. The savings part of the premium has the nature of an investment and is therefore recorded in the legal person’s - beneficiary’s books as a long-term claim on the insurance company.

The 8.5% tax on insurance premiums is not applied to 10 years life insurance. The tax is only payable if the insurance is cashed in before the end of the 10-year term.

If an insured event occurs, the beneficiary of the insurance payment is the company and the payment is included in the tax base for the year of disbursement in the income statement.

  • Upon the death of the insured person, the sum insured for the death and the value of the property are paid according to the policy. Full insurance coverage occurs after the first year of insurance. Before the end of the first year, 50% of the premiums paid will be paid in the event of the insured person's death.
  • In case of accidental death of the insured person, the sum insured for accidental death and the value of the property are paid according to the policy, and after the end of the first year of insurance, also the sum insured for the death of the insured person.
If, at the end of the insurance period, the insured person’s death has not occurred, the value of the property is paid according to the policy.

  • In case of hospitalization of the insured person due to an accident, a daily allowance for more than four consecutive nights spent in the hospital as a result of the accident (up to 365 consecutive nights) is paid.

The difference between a loan and a lease is that when you buy a vehicle with a loan, you acquire ownership of the vehicle immediately, while with a lease, the lessor remains the owner of the car until the lease is repaid.
The lessor will grant you a lease in the amount and with a monthly installment corresponding to the inflows into your personal account. The lowest monthly installment is 100 EUR.
Leasing features:

  • The repayment period for a car lease can be up to 7 years,
  • the option to buy a used or new vehicle,
  • in most cases the deposit is at least 20% of the value of the vehicle,
  • the option of choosing between a fixed or variable interest rate,
  • the cost of approval is comparable to the cost of getting a loan.

To obtain a lease, the client must submit proof of regular income (salary, pension or other income). Foreign citizens are additionally required to have a guarantor. Leasing insurance is the object of the lease itself, i.e. a vehicle that remains the property of the lessor until the last installment has been paid. Additional leasing insurance is usually not required, but the vehicle must be insured.

Contactless payment is a payment without physical contact between a payment card and a POS terminal. The contactless sign is clearly visible on the POS terminal.
Contactless payments - fast, touchless and secure:

  •  Usually, daily payments of smaller value are paid in cash. Don't look for change anymore – use your contactless card, just bringing it closer to your POS terminal. Without touching and entering your personal number (PIN).
  • Most payments up to 50 EUR can be made by contactless card without entering a personal number (PIN). Payments of amounts over 50 EUR can be made contactlessly, only the purchase must be confirmed by entering a personal number (PIN).
  • Random reading (scanning) of card data by unauthorized persons is not possible, since the security of this technology is comparable to chip technology or even better.
  • No fear. It is not possible to have a card in your pocket, pass the POS terminal and unknowingly make a payment. The POS terminal does not detect the card in this way.
  • If you bring a wallet with multiple contactless cards closer to your POS terminal, it refuses to make the payment. You must always independently bring the card closer to the POS terminal.

Payment up to 50 EUR - contactless and without entering a personal number

Bring the card close to the sign on the POS terminal and wait for an audio and/or light signal. After making the payment, you will take a receipt for payment.

Personal safety should not depend on unforeseen events and luck. When deciding on the right personal insurance for you, you have to follow all the necessary steps carefully, as this is the only way to

ensure you are really protected.

1. PROTECTION

First and foremost, you need to protect your financial security in order to protect yourself and your loved ones from any loss of income due to unforeseen events. This is particularly important if you are a borrower, because by purchasing the right life insurance, you can protect your loved ones, and make sure that you can actually repay your loan yourself, no matter what happens in your life.

Choosing the right life, accident and health insurance products can give you a high level of security:

2. SAVING

The Bank calculates the monthly loan installment from the loan amount drawn. The amount of the installments is adjusted twice a year during the loan repayment period (March and September), depending on the installment due date (8th, 18th, 28th or last day of the month). A new installment is due in the next accounting period. The calculation takes into account the outstanding principal amount, the remaining repayment period and the applicable interest rate.

If you have taken out a fixed rate loan, the interest rate remains unchanged for the entire repayment period.

In the case of a variable rate loan consisting of a reference rate and a fixed mark-up, changes in the reference rate cause the total interest rate to fluctuate during the term of the loan.

You may pay off the full amount of your loan or part of your loan early at any time after the start of the loan repayment period. The early loan repayment penalty is determined by the Slovenian Consumer Credit Act (Zakon o potrošniških kreditih). Early loan repayment is currently free for all variable rate loans and all repayments done within one year up to the amount of 10,000 EUR.
If you opt for early partial loan repayment, you have to decide between a shorter remaining repayment period or smaller installments.

Your creditworthiness varies depending on the type of loan, insurance, and on your personal income.
Once you have been granted a loan, your income must remain within the limits set by the Slovenian Claim Enforcement and Security Act (Zakon o izvršbi in zavarovanju). Your debt-to-income ratio must remain in the 33% to 50% range.

Bank customers who have been receiving income into a personal account with SKB for three months or longer can apply for a loan of up to two years by filling out a loan approval application, which can also be submitted through SKB NET. Longer term loans require a salary verification letter issued by the employer.
Customers who do not receive income on an SKB account must also attach an administrative prohibition of payments (2 copies), also certified by the employer, and a certificate from their parent bank on account transactions for the last 6 months.
Pensioners must submit their last two ZPIZ (Pension and Disability Insurance Institute of Slovenia) statements in lieu of an employer-issued salary verification letter.

One of the features that are common to all credit cards is the billing period in which the client makes purchases with the card, followed by the automatic payment of the credit card bill for the said billing period on the agreed payment due date (8th, 18th or 28th of the month) or the first following business day. At the end of the billing period (usually 11 days before the agreed payment due date), a statement and (internal) direct debit with the total amount of payments (credit card bill amount) are prepared.

If the client executes an early repayment after the billing period has ended, the following happens:

  • your used card limit will be released in the amount of the repayment at the latest on the following business day, which you will also be notified of with a pop-up window. .

    Opozorilo
  • On the payment due date, a direct debit to your personal account is made for the credit card bill amount,
  • as a result, the client will have an overpayment amount on the card account corresponding to the amount of the early repayment. You will also be notified of this in a pop-up window notification that appears between the time the statement is being prepared and the debit date.

This does not occur during the billing period, as the statement and direct debit for the amount spent with the credit card have not yet been prepared. An overpayment cannot occur if the client pays only the difference between the spending amount and the credit card bill amount after the end of the billing period.

Taxable persons who are residents of the Republic of Slovenia are required to comply with the Personal Income Tax Act and submit a tax return for interest from cash deposits in banks and savings banks in Slovenia, and in banks and savings banks of other Member States of the EU, by 28 February of the current year for the previous calendar year.

The taxpayer can file the return to the tax office located where he/she has permanent residence, or in electronic form using the eDavki system. Taxpayers whose total income from interest accrued does not exceed the legally determined amount are not required to file an income tax return. The tax-exempt amount of income from interest is currently 1,000 EUR.

Based on the tax return, the tax authority issues a tax assessment decision on the amount of personal income tax. The deadline for payment of tax is 30 days from the date of receipt of the decision. As of 1 January 2013, the tax rate on interest is 25 %. This tax is final. Personal income tax is not paid on interest accrued on a positive balance in a transaction account or a personal account.
Article 84 of the Personal Income Tax Act allows the taxpayer to add the interest earned on long-term deposits and savings at banks and savings banks to the tax base in the amount attributable to each year of income tax calculation. This means that the tax on interest is spread over as many years as the deposit or savings period lasts.

The primary purpose of a mortgage is to assure the repayment of a specific debt via the sale of the property and repay the creditor (e.g. a bank) with the proceeds of the sale, if the borrower fails to fulfill his or her obligations at maturity. If the borrower fails to fulfill his or her contractual obligations regularly or in full, the Bank shall comply with the Bank's Policy for Managing Late Real Estate Loan Repayments. Without any additional insurance, late loan repayments might result in your family losing their home.  To avoid unexpected events that could make it difficult to repay a loan, such as the borrower’s death or loss of employment, we recommend that you take out additional insurance: insurance of liabilities in case of the borrower’s death and/or insurance for the case of the borrower’s unemployment.

The easiest way to make sure you can install the app on your phone is to check which brand it is. The brand is usually written on the front or back of the phone:

The monthly installment amount is calculated using a linear interest factor that takes into account the ideal number of day in a month - the same number of days in a month - and ideal loan repayment conditions. A change in the installment amount may be due to a change in the loan use and repayment dynamics, compared to the dynamics taken into account in the informative calculation of the installment amount, as well as due to accounting for the actual number of days in the calculation of interest.

Each deposit is remunerated on an applicable 6-point scale of interest rates, using the FIFO method for calculating interest.

The interest rate scale:

is divided into 6 points, defined by the date of each deposit in the savings account. A fixed interest rate is fixed for each of the points. Each deposit is first remunerated at the rate applicable to point 1. After the end of the term specified in point 1, the deposit shall be remunerated at the next rate. The interest rate scale may change in the manner agreed in the General Terms and Conditions for Savings Accounts.

Interest calculation:

Interest is calculated using the FIFO method (First In First Out), which means that every deposit made on the savings account is remunerated according to the interest rate scale for the period from the date of deposit (First In) to the date of withdrawal (First Out). Funds saved in the savings account are reduced by the order of deposits into the savings account.

Each deposit is first remunerated at the rate applicable to point 1. After the end of the term, the deposit will be remunerated at the next rate,
  • an account holder who reaches the 6th point on the scale reaches the highest possible interest rate, the interest rate scale may change during the saving term, the interest shall be compounded annually (at the end of the calendar year) and paid out at the same interest rate scale as other deposits.
