SKB Bank received the award »Best Bank in Slovenia for the year 2020« in the category of Central and Eastern European countries according to the assessment by the Global Finance professional magazine.
Banks from over 150 countries were included in the selection of best banks.
A recognition from the Global Finance magazine is highly valued as it represents a recognition from the expert community with several years of tradition. The Global Finance magazine has been read in 188 countries world-wide since 1987; its readers are highly qualified banking experts and others responsible for investment and strategic decisions in international corporations and financial institutions.
The expert community has made the assessment that this year’s winners of individual categories are those banks which cautiously approach their customers and strategically evaluate their needs, thus contributing to acquiring the best results.
The objective criteria included bank’s assets, profitability, geographical dispersion, strategic relations with customers and development of new business channels and innovations in the field of products.
