Instructions for bank by the seller
Features of documentary collection
Intended for all home and foreign corporate clients, professionals and sole proprietors, who want to insure their payments in international operations with permanent partners.
Role of the bank
Bank does not guarantee payment, but it takes part in realisation of payment and document take over. Business partners that know and trust each other decide on documentary collection.
loro inkaso – for importers
Based on the documents received from the foreign seller the bank requests payment from the home importer. Upon payment or bill acceptance the importer receives documents for claiming goods.
nostro inkaso – for exporters
The exporter hands the bank documents with instructions that are sent to foreign buyer or his bank for liquidation and waits for income. Bank has the role of an agent and good manager in collection and acts in accordance with provisions of Uniform rules for collections URC 522 issued by the International Chamber of Commerce.
