SKB BANKA SINGS ANOTHER FOUR-YEAR AGREEMENT ON GENERAL SPONSORSHIP OF THE SLOVENIAN OLYMPIC TEAM
The Bank has been the general sponsor of the Slovenian Olympic Team since 6 June
1993, i.e., from the very beginning when the Slovenian Olympic Committee joined the
International Olympic Committee. At the inauguration of SKB Banka's renovated main
branch in Ljubljana, which took place on 9 December 2003, the Management Board of SKB Banka and the President of the Slovenian Olympic Committee signed another four-year agreement on SKB's general sposorship of the Slovenian Olympic Team.
COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN SKB LEASING AND PEUGEOT SLOVENIA
SKB Banka’s wholly owned subsidiary company, SKB Leasing, signed a cooperation agreement today with Peugeot Slovenia.
SEMI-ANNUAL RESULTS OF SKB BANKA IN LINE WITH THE BUSINESS PLAN
In the first half of 2003 SKB Banka’s operations were in line with the expectations. The Bank posted an operating profit in the amount of SIT 2,892 million.
PROMISING RESULTS OF SKB BANKA
In the year 2002 SKB Banka’s operations were in line with expectations. The Bank posted a profit before tax in the amount of SIT 100.9 million and SKB Group posted a profit before tax in the amount of SIT 119.9 million. Operating profit of the bank in the year 2002 amounted to SIT 2,478.7 million.
SIOM to replace TOM in SKB Banka
SKB replaced the Basic Interest Rate in Slovenia, TOM, with its own interest rate, SIOM, on 17 February 2003.
SKB BANKA OWNS 100% OF THE COMPANY CA-SKB LEASING LTD.
Having bought a 50% stake which Bank Austria Creditanstalt had in the company
Creditanstalt-SKB Leasing, SKB Banka acquired a 100% ownership in this Ljubljana-based subsidiary company, effective as of 1 January 2003.
