There have been new cases of ATM abuse, so be careful if the ATM does not issue the money!

The villains disable the functioning of an ATM with a physical barrier so that the cash gets stuck inside the ATM slot before being issued. The procedure for withdrawing cash on the ATM screen proceeds smoothly, as the ATM prompts the user to take the cash, which is disabled due to the physical barriers within the slot. The users typically conclude that there is a technical problem, so they leave the ATM, making it possible for the perpetrators to remove the cash trap along with the non-issued money.
 
If an ATM does not issue the cash after an approved transaction, you should immediately check your account balance. If the transaction is cancelled and your account balance is correct, you can again try to withdraw cash. Otherwise, immediately inform the bank that owns the ATM about the error and stay close to the ATM. If you suspect that such a device has been installed, also notify the police.

With your security in mind, we have been gradually upgrading our ATMs with new security devices, which prevent malicious installation of devices for copying data from cards.

Despite this fact, please continue to pay attention to any irregularities on ATMs, observe security measures while operating them and cover the number pad while entering your PIN number.

We advise you to proceed carefully when withdrawing money from ATMs; do not pull the card from the slot, but wait for the ATM to release the card on its own. If you notice anything unusual, attached to the housing of the ATM, please notify the outlet, SKB TEL call centre (01) 471 55 55 or the police at telephone number 113.

In case of any suspicion of abuse we will contact you and we will check the transaction together. If you notice anything unusual, please contact your parent outlet. In case of proven abuse, all the costs incurred are reimbursed by the bank, including the production of a new bank card.
